During the 9th Canonical Erection and Consecration Anniversary of the Parish of St. Augustine of Hippo in Gubat, Sorsogon, on August 30, 2023, the Rev. Fr. Andres Rivera, Jr., OSA, Prior Provincial of the Augustinian Province of SantoNiño de Cebu, led the ribbon cutting and blessing of the newly concreted quarter-kilometer service road at the Parish compound.
Assisting him in this ceremony were the four Augustinian priests in the parish community: Fr. James Atienza, OSA, Fr. Mark Domasian, OSA, Fr. Cyril Jeth Tagalog, OSA, and Fr. Ronald Siaga, OSA.
Following the road blessing, the Prior Provincial presided over the concelebrated mass inside the Parish. The Augustinian community in Gubat expresses its gratitude to donors and benefactors who generously supported the improvement and development of the Parish.
On this occasion, we celebrate St. Augustine Parish of Gubat, Sorsogon’s Founding Anniversary with gratitude and give all the glory to God!
