Two STVI Graduates Join USA Iloilo’s 2025 Commencement Exercises

Two graduating students from St. Thomas of Villanova Institute (STVI) in Quezon City joined the 2025 Commencement Exercises of the University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City, held on July 7.

Since STVI’s establishment as an affiliate school of the University of San Agustin in 2002, this year marks a significant milestone: the first time a joint graduation celebration was held under the leadership of Fr. Frederick Commendador, O.S.A., the previous university president and the current STVI director.

The proud graduates were Rejemel Muñes Abella from Cebu City and Nov. Christian Lendelud Lenizo Delcampo from Compostela, Davao de Oro. This year’s celebration carried the theme: “Learning Without Borders, Connection Without Limits: 120 Years of Augustinian Excellence.”

In his message during the Graduate and Collegiate Commencement Ceremony, Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, highlighted the timeless value of education, reminding the graduates that “learning is without borders, and building connections is without limits.”

Prior to the main ceremony, the STVI graduates participated in the Baccalaureate Program on the afternoon of July 3 at the USA Auditorium, which centered on the theme, “One Community, One Mission: 120 Years of Augustinian Education and Excellence.” They also joined the Baccalaureate Mass held on the morning of July 7, just before the graduation rites.moters for their dedicated efforts in guiding and accompanying the candidates.
