The college seminarians of the Augustinian Province of Sto. Niño de Cebu–Philippines gather for a three-day retreat during Holy Week at the Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary Retreat House.
Centered on the theme “Rooted in Community, Growing in Unity,” the retreat offers a sacred time for prayer, silence, and reflection. In this privileged moment of recollection, the seminarians are invited to deepen their relationship with God and with one another as brothers in formation.
Guided by Rev. Fr. Nelson G. Zerda, OSA, the retreat draws from the rich spiritual heritage of St. Augustine of Hippo, particularly his teachings on interiority and the call to live in communion. These reflections are thoughtfully enriched by insights from modern psychology, helping the seminarians to grow in self-awareness, fraternity, and authentic unity.
