In the spirit of stewardship, moral responsibility, and shared mission, treasurers and procurators from the different Augustinian communities of the province gathered for a three-day ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ held at the Aula Magna of the Santo Niรฑo Pilgrim Center, Basilica Minore del Sto. Niรฑo de Cebu from April 14-16, 2026.
The Augustinian treasurers and procurators immersed themselves in a variety of educational discussions and audit findings of communities that bridged faith and ethical administration.
In its commencement on April 14, a comprehensive review of labor laws, facilitated by Fr. Atty. Jessie Tabo, OSA and Fr. Atty. Generous P. Gonesto, OSA, and a seminar on PhilHealth government services were conducted to ground the community in the legal and social responsibilities that shape their roles.
Building on this foundation, on April 15, the meeting broadened the discussions on taxation by Atty. Geraldine Jorda, cooperative membership, and the stewardship of human resources by Dr. Jean Sanches, PhD, which all inspired the participants on the ethical dimensions of leadership and administration.
On its final day last April 16, the Treasurers and Procurators presented the Audit Findings of the communities, followed by an immersive hands-on Workshop on the Chart of Accounts.
More than these series of seminars and workshops, this meeting grounded our communities in the significance of reviewing our practices, strengthening our systems, improving our accountability, and igniting our moral responsibilities.
