Representatives of the Augustinian Family convened at the Conference Room of the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu on March 22, 2026 for a meeting and workshop in preparation for the Augustinian Youth Encounter (AYE) 2027, which will be held in South Korea.

The gathering brought together friars from the Augustinian Provinces of Santo Niño de Cebu–Philippines and Australasia, a representative from the Augustinian Delegation of Korea, members of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation and the Augustinian Recollect Sisters, as well as a lay representative from Australia who is assisting in the preparations.

Marked by a spirit of unity and shared mission, the meeting served as a venue for in-depth discussion of the proposed plans for AYE 2027. Participants engaged in a process of communal discernment, identifying key directions and collaborative initiatives aimed at ensuring a meaningful, well-coordinated, and spiritually enriching celebration of this important Augustinian gathering.
