Anchored on the theme, #OneSanAgus-tin: United by Love. Strengthened by Faith, three commissions of the Province joined forces to stage this year’s Augustinian Youth Festival (AYF) at GODUCATE, San Miguel, Iloilo City last November 24-26, 2017.

These commissions were the Commission on Parish Ministry, Lay and Youth headed by Fr. Tomas C. Banayag, Jr., the Commission on Educational Apos-tolate headed by Fr. Wilson A. Capellan and the Commission on Vocation and Pro-motion headed by Fr. Dante O. Juloc.

The festival aims to empower the Augustinian youth and to deepen their commitment as future leaders of the Church and of the society, to revitalize the Augustinian identity anchored in the 3 Augustinian core values of Unitas, Veritas and Caritas among the youth participants and to strengthen collaboration and sol-idarity among Augustinian youth in the Province and also within the big Augus-tinian Family in the Philippines.

Youth delegates from the different Com-munities/Residences of the Province as well as from Augustinian parishes and schools graced the activity.

Addresses were given by Fr. Frederick C. Comendador, President of the University of San Agustin (USA) and by Fr. Wilson A. Capellan, USA’s Vice President for Augustinian Formation and Mission. The youth delegates warmly participated in the various activities such as talks, group sharings, praise & worship and team building that were slated on the duration of the festival
