May 31, 2017 marked a significant academic milestone for three Augustinian friars as they graduated from the CICM Maryhill School of Theology during a ceremony held at the school’s Multi-Purpose Hall.
The celebration began with a Eucharistic Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Ramon Caluza, CICM, the School President. Among the graduates were Fray Peter John C. Cardos, OSA, Fray Freddie C. Billones, OSA, and Fray Mark N. Domasian, OSA.
Fray Cardos was conferred the degree Master of Arts in Theological Studies (Thesis Program). Fray Billones and Fray Domasian both completed the General Theology Program, with Fray Billones also earning a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry (Non-Thesis Program).
Meanwhile, Fray Domasian is set to defend his thesis titled “The Church as Communion of Friends in John 15:12–17” this coming August. Upon successful defense, he will also be awarded the Master of Arts in Theological Studies (Thesis Program).
The Province celebrates with these friars in gratitude for their academic achievements and continued commitment to theological and pastoral formation.
