Two friars officially started their 6-month exposure to San Isidro Labrador Chapel in Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur  last July 1, 2017.

Fr. Vicente F. Amplayo and Fr. Mark An-thony C. Tampos  were warmly welcomed by some clergy of the diocese led by Fr. Foelan G. Echavez, the Vicar General and Fr. Leslie A. Bataoel, Chancellor of the diocese.

Prior to that, the friars met with Bishop Emmanuel T. Cabajar, CSsR, Bishop of Pa-gadian at his residence in Pagadian City. There are around 23 Catholic chapels and 49 BEC(spell out) groups in Guipos town. Guipos was offered to the Province by Bishop Cabajar in a bid to make the friars share their specific charism and pastoral ministry to the Catholic faithful of the Diocese of Pagadian.

After their six-month exposure in the area, the friars will return to their respec-tive assignments in their communities and will be replaced by another batch of friars.
