Amidst the challenges brought by the pandemic, the Colegio San Agustin – Biñan is proud to be a recipient of the Iskolar ng Biñan program, a partnership between the local government unit and the school. Through this Memorandum of Agreement, the LGU has promised to send at least 100 college scholars to CSA-Biñan as part of its INB program and to provide a 100 percent scholarship grant for qualified students. This interplay of tradition and innovation will continue to build a strong and vibrant community that nurtures academic excellence and social responsibility.
In addition to this program, the LGU is also helping students gain access to education through its Artista at Atletang Biñanense College (ABC) Scholarship Program. This program provides scholarships for talented artists and athletes who have the potential to bring pride to Biñan in due time.
On behalf of the Colegio San Agustin – Biñan, School President Rev. Fr. Wilson Capellan, OSA is thankful to the LGU for their balanced support to both private and public schools. This support is crucial in ensuring that private schools can stand on their own and remain afloat amidst the pandemic.
The MOA was signed on Monday, February 27, 2023.
