Fr. Exuper Lumintac, OSA, parish priest of St. Augustine of Hippo Parish in Saguday, Quirino Province, has been appointed as one of the seven exorcists in the Diocese of Bayombong.
The Most Rev. Jose Elmer Mangalinao, DD, bishop of the Diocese of Bayombong installed him during a mass celebrated at the Saint Dominic Cathedral in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, on the Feast Day of the Archangel’s Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, September 29, 2023.
Fr. Exuper’s appointment as an exorcist for the Diocese is not his initial but his second time serving in this significant role.
Installed with him are Msgr. Johnny Valdez, Fr. Virgilio Mendoza, OFM, Fr. Jun Sapon, Fr. Vincent Wance, Fr. Rindyll Wakit and Fr. Louis Velasco.
Under Bishop Mangalinao’s guidance, these seven priests would later form the Diocese of Bayombong Office of Exorcism.
