The Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish (OMPH) in Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur officially welcomed its second Parish Priest on July 4, 2021.
Rev. Fr. Vicente F. Amplayo, OSA was installed as the second Parish Priest of OMPH.
The eucharistic celebration and the rites of installation was presided over by Most Rev. Ronald I. Lunas, D.D, Bishop of Pagadian.
Among those present in the activity was the first and the outgoing Parish priest of OMPH Guipos, Fr. Mark Anthony C. Tampos, OSA together with several diocesan clergy.
Fr. Amplayo was previously assigned as the School Director of the Colegio del Santo Niño de Cebu for five years.
He made his simple profession of vows in 1995 and was ordained priest in 2000.
Rev. John Louis Ricamora, OSA and Rev. Rey Cyril C. Lagrosa, OSA were also assigned to assist the pastoral needs of the parish.
They were both ordained deacons on April 29, 2021 at the University of San Agustin – Iloilo Chapel.
The parish was canonically established in 2018.
