Philippine Augustinians Development Office, Inc. (PADO) has recently received its Certificate of Accreditation from the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). The certificate, which is valid for three years, recognizes PADO’s adherence to PCNC’s standards of transparency, accountability, legitimacy, and quality service.
PADO is now awaiting its BIR Certificate of Registration through PCNC, which will allow the organization to issue a Certificate of Donation to donors as donee institution. NGOs with donee status can issue the Certificate of Donation to donors, which they can use to claim tax deductibility of their donations.
Fr. Jose Rene “Bong” Delariarte, OSA, PADO’s chairman, expressed his gratitude to the organization’s supporters and stakeholders, including the BOT, Advisory Committee, OSA Province staff, former PADO staff, and partners such as SNAF, SMCC, SNPH, SW interns, Reflex, and Candle house, for contributing to the achievement. This is a significant milestone for PADO and a cause for celebration among its supporters.
