The Philippine Augustinians Development Office Inc. (PADO) has been granted a License to Operate as an Auxiliary Resource Agency by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Field Office VII on October 13, 2021. This license was obtained after PADO submitted the necessary documents and received a positive result from the licensing assessment.
This license is a significant step for PADO as it enhances the organization’s accountability and transparency in its operational and financial systems. It also prepares PADO for its application with the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). It makes it eligible to receive technical support from DSWD, membership to the network of registered Social Welfare Agencies called ABSNET, and access to DSWD’s programs for its registered agencies.
PADO is the technical support arm of the Augustinian Province of Santo Nino de Cebu – Philippines in resource mobilization, technical assistance in program conceptualization, and property development planning to help achieve its mission of serving the people of God through its apostolates.
