In the World Scientists and University Rankings, the University of San Agustin–Iloilo topped in two categories. It ranked 4th among private universities and 9th among the general universities in the Philippines. The ranking was released by the Alper-Doger Scientific Index 2024 on October 1, 2023.
The AD Scientific Index is a ranking and analysis system based on scientific performance and added value of scientific productivity of individual scientists.
According to its website, the “AD Scientific Index” is a unique research project that presents comprehensive data on scientists’ productivity over a six-year period. It evaluates their performance using metrics such as the h-index, i10 index, and citations from Google Scholar.
Additionally, this index offers rankings and evaluations of scientists across various academic disciplines. It covers 22,395 universities, 218 countries and regions, and the global scientific community.
In summary, the “AD Scientific Index” offers both rankings and analytical insights for scientists.
The Philippines ranked 68th with 6,106 scientists from 287 universities in the world ranking.
The University of San Agustin (USA-Iloilo) has thirty-seven scientists, and two of them belong to the Top 20% of Scientists in the World.
