Fr. Rodolfo Millan Arreza, OSA hails from Cantilan, Surigao del Sur. He was born on December 20, 1929. He made his simple vows on June 5, 1951 in Convento de San Agustin, Intramuros, Manila; his solemn profession of vows on June 5, 1954 in Villanova, Philadelphia, USA; and was ordained priest on September 25, 1966 in San Agustin, Intramuros, Manila. He made his philosophical studies in the University of St. Thomas of Villanova in Philadelphia, USA, and his theological studies in Estudio Teologico Agustiniano in Valladolid, Spain. Back home, he finished his master studies in history at the University of San Carlos, in Cebu City.
Among his assignments were being principal of the high school department of Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod and as president of the University of San Agustin – Iloilo.
He also served as Provincial counselor of the Province of Santo Niño de Cebu – Philippines.
He died on October 11, 2011 from prostate cancer. He would have celebrated his 82nd birthday on December 20.
