Last February 4-5, 2023, the Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) Parish in Socorro, Surigao de Norte celebrated the Feast of Santo Niño with many activities. The highlight of the event was the arrival of the pilgrim image of Santo Niño from the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu.
The festivities kicked off on February 4 with a Fluvial Procession at 7:00 am, followed by a motorcade going to Pamosaingan at 3:30 pm. The Novena Mass was held at Pamosaingan at 5:00 pm. On February 5, the celebrations continued with a motorcade going to the Parish at 6:00 am and a foot procession at 7:00 am. The Holy Mass was held at the Parish at 10:00 am.
The celebration culminated with the SAyaw HAlad para kang Sto. NiÑO (SAHAÑO at Municipal Gymnasium) at 1:00 pm. The parishioners enthusiastically participated in the event and showed their unwavering support for the parish.
