Prayer to Saint Clare of Montefalco
Our beloved Saint Clare of Montefalco, the first fruit of holiness among the ranks of Augustinian nuns, our hearts praise the Almighty God for He has given you to us to be a model of heroic sanctity.
We, your brothers and sisters in the Augustinian Family, are filled with gladness because you are our intercessor before the throne of the mercy of God. Look upon us who come to you bearing our problems and burdens in life. Bring close to God the prayers and petitions which we are unable to express fully in front of His altar.
Our beloved Saint Clare, you carried in your heart the marks of the Sacrifices and Sufferings of our Lord Jesus. Behold our own hearts full of sufferings in this world. Have mercy and hasten to the aid of people afflicted with various heart ailments. Through your intercession, may they be granted the healing they pray for, and may they be blessed with health of mind and body.
Our beloved Saint Clare, deign to grant our Community the blessings that we need so that we can live together with love, unity, and helpfulness towards one another. Lead us in forming a community centered on God, devoted to our nation, respectful of people, and caring for His creation.
Above all, Saint Clare, grant us who venerate you as our heavenly Patroness the everlasting joy together with you and the Blessed Virgin Mary in the heavenly kingdom of our Lord Jesus. Amen.

Let us pray:
O Lord our God, You deepened the holiness of Saint Clare of Montefalco through her contemplation of the sufferings and death of Your Son, and in her heart are emblazoned the signs of His Passion and Death. Grant that we may receive the redemption won for us by Your beloved Son, Who lives and reigns with You in union with the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
